We couldn't do what we do without the help and support of our fantastic volunteers. We are currently recruiting for our next event THAMES CON 2023.

Free entry to event, rewarding experience, meeting interesting people, supporting what we do! We are happy to provide references for you post event. 

 

We're looking for ..

Those that are passionate about the arts, supporting the local community, hard working, have a sense of fun, happy talking to customers. 

 

Time & Date

9:00-5:30 on Saturday 28th October

Location

Cornerstone Arts Centre, 25 Station Road, Didcot, Oxon, OX11 7NE

 

Duties 

Example of volunteer roles; Guest assistant, stewarding, welcome desk, info desk, trader support, ticket scanning, merchandise stand, creature minder, cosplay registration, workshop assistant and more!

 

Breaks & Expenses

Please be advised that we will not be able to cover travel expenses or provide lunch for this event. All volunteers will be given a 30 minute lunch break, please bring a packed lunch or you can purchase lunch from the various local food outlets (Cornerstone Cafe, Burger king, Boswells Cafe, Sainsburys etc). Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available in the greenroom, please help yourself :). 

 

Parking 

There is a local public car park behind the cornerstone, charged at £5.00 per day. 

 

Train

The closest train station is Didcot Parking, this is 10 minutes walk to the venue.
